Serine Sinding Yde (DK) Arrangement, In Line (2020)
I Arrangement, In Line I work with diversity. I have investigated the fine nuance differences of ballet shoes. Some are peach/golden, some are peach/reddish and this became the pretext to compose with them. As they were put many together and stood close additional elements emerged. Such as the spaces forming a thin black line shoe tip to shoe tip and the diamond shape between the shoes. And the beautiful shades/ballet shoes are met by the unattractive as they form new shapes in their curled form. I work with the minimalist and monochrome expression in my works. About the artist: I am a collector. Not for the sake of collecting, but for the sake of color, shape and texture/texture. I compose with the small differences, such as scratches, spaces and proportions. I strive for as minimalist and monochromatic an expression as possible. By removing the objects from their original functions, a new aesthetic expression emerges. I seek to compose the objects so that they speak to each other, but also challenge each other.
