Pernille Enoch (DK) Portraits from the Quiktestcenter Gentofte (2021)
We look at the portrait - we look at ourselves. Comparing, finding similarities and differences, but common to us all is that this is our everyday life right now. An everyday life with corona. What state of mind are we in, in the minutes just after the test. In the time between test and result: detected - not detected. This work is a record, a documentation of who we are - and who we once were, when we look back in the future at this pocket of time. (artist's own description)

About the artist: Pernillle Enochgrew up in Copenhagen, graduated as a photographer in 2001 and has since worked as an independent photographer with her own studio in Frederiksberg. Pernille Enoch has worked with many art forms over the past 20 years, but always with photography as the focal point. "I find motifs that we know from our everyday lives and the world around us, as it is now and as it once was. I seek the experience of tranquillity in the chaos - a stillness in the city. I am interested in the poetry of the raw, the worn - streets, facades and people marked by weather and wind, and a life lived." (artist's own description)
