Alex Bunn (GB) Cursed Array(2020)
Cursed Array is a macro-panoramic photograph of a sculpture made in resin, 3D prints and milk. The main body of the sculpture was made using multiple generations of moulds and casts in various materials until finally being cast in polyester. Other components were created on computer to fit with the main body, 3D printed and reassembled. The photograph itself was created by seamlessly compositing 400 photographs to capture intense detail and infinite depth of field. (artist's own description)

Photographic print mounted on aluminium with back-frame (2 panels). 150 x 446 x 6 cm

About the artist: I create mainly large-format photographs of purpose-built sculptures. My work uses sculptural approaches, united with the documentary insights, shifts in scale and static timeframes endowed by photography. The unique objects depicted are created solely for the purpose of being photographed. (artist's own description)
