Emilie Bobek (DK) Dream a little dream - Sycamore Tree (2021)
Dream a little dream - Sycamore Tree (2021) is a series of works that explores the phenomena of delusion. The work includes a series of different ceramic objects made from distorted and modified molds of everyday-objects. Delusion is used as a starting point to generate different sculptural movements and deformations. The collapsed and deformed shapes animate the objects and suggest different narratives. Creating and using the molds in unconventional ways is a constant balance between control and chaos where the creative process mirrors the psychological process. (artist's own description)

About the artist: Emilie Bobek (b. 1990) graduated from Gerrit Rietveld Academy School of Fine Arts and Design, NL In her practice Emilie Bobek investigates the medium of clay to create her sculptures.
