Danish visual artist, trained at the art academies in Budapest and Copenhagen 1987-94. The exploration of space as well as the light and the potential of colour have run like a thread throughout her career. With its simple features and powerful colours, Malene Landgreen has moved far beyond the frame of the painting. In her 'in situ projects', she decorates and colours large spaces such as Aalborg Airport (2001), Novo Nordisk (2002), DR-byen (2006-08) and New Post Terminal in Oslo (2009). Here she has painted the art on a large scale and established herself as one of the most in demand in Denmark when it comes to putting colors on our surroundings in everyday life. Landgreen received the Eckersberg Medal in 2006 as well as a wide range of other awards and awards.
