Q: Who can apply for admission to the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition?

Anyone regardless of background, education and nationality can apply with up to five entries (work or series of works) within, but not limited to, the categories art, architecture and craft/design and performance. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals and groups are welcome to apply.

Q: How much does it cost?

The application fee is 500DKK and is paid online as the first step in the application process. The application cannot be completed and approved unless the payment is completed. Payment can be made with the following cards: Dankort, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron. You will receive a receipt of your purchase by email. Once your payment is approved, you can upload your contributions and post-edits until the deadline.

Q: How many works can I apply for?

You can apply with five entries (work or work series) and for each entry you can upload up to four documentation images. You can search within, but not limited to, the categories arkitektur, kunst, kunsthåndværk, design og performance, tværdisciplinære projekter og tekst. The Charlottenborg Foundation and this year's jury further encourage associations, groups, collectives and organizations to apply. There is a time limit of 1 minute for video, film, animation and other time-based works. The time limit only applies to the application viewing and not to the final viewing of any accepted works. The Charlottenborg Foundation encourages applicants to add notes or additional descriptions of the uploaded works. The works must be no more than 2 years old at the time of application and must not have been previously exhibited at other censored exhibitions in Denmark.
