FOS, b. 1971, artist name for Thomas Poulsen, is a Danish visual artist and trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts 1993-2000. FOS's artistic work is an ever-evolving concept he calls Social Design, a form of construction method for building a space or place with the aim of making social processes between people more aware. FOS also works with Social Design through media such as music, clothing, interior design and graphics. Marie Nipper is artistic director at the Tate in Liverpool and a former superintendent of ARoS Aarhus Art Museum. She has curated a large number of international exhibitions and served as a consultant on major and minor decorating tasks for both public and private institutions. She is also a co-owner of the art book publisher Roulette Russe.
